Ms. Prentice challenges you to read 500 minutes this summer! If you read 20 minutes for 25 days you will reach your goal. Complete this reading log and turn it into Ms. Prentice to earn a prize and a free book!

The Nesbit's Readers Rally Team promotes reading with students who read and comprehend on grade level and enjoy discussing books. Students are responsible for reading, practicing, and preparing on their own time as well.
Students will read from the GCPS Readers Rally book list which includes fiction, non-fiction, and biographies and ranges from fourth to sixth-grade reading levels.
For interested 4th & 5th grade students, the final goal of this club is to participate in the Gwinnett County Readers Rally, a competition between elementary schools in a "Quiz Bowl" format using the selected books. This team of 10 students will be selected in the fall. We will meet weekly to prepare for the February competition.
