Ms. Veronica Allen
Hello. My name is Veronica Allen and this year I am the Counselor for Kindergarten and 5th grade. This is my 16th year as an educator and my 5th year with GCPS. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Clark Atlanta University and a Masters in School Counseling from Mercer University. I’m originally from Brooklyn, NY, raised in Queens and win or lose, a New York Giants fan! I love spending time with my family and friends, landscape photography, and just being on the beach. I am also one of the coaches for our afterschool program, Girls On The Run. I look forward to another magnificent year with my Mustang Family!

Mr. Anthony Miller
Hey! My name is Anthony Miller. I am so excited to be a part of the Mustang Family here at Nesbit Elementary. I was a counselor in Chattanooga, TN for 5 years before my recent move to Georgia in July ‘23. I grew up in East Tennessee in a small town called Roan Mountain. I attended University of Tennessee, Knoxville where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (2016) and Masters of Science in School Counseling (2018). In my spare time, I am usually exploring cities, listening to music, hanging with friends, or playing video games (sometimes I do all that in one day!). My goal as a school counselor is to spread joy and help students reach their full potential with a little fun and joy along the way.
Ms. Angel Hester

I am pleased to welcome you to the 24-25 school year! This year I will be entering into my 6th year as an educator and my 4th year as a school counselor. I have earned my Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Education as well as a Masters of Education in School Counseling from Valdosta State University. While not at school, I enjoy watching sports, spending time with my family and traveling. My passion is education, supporting our students' social and emotional needs, and making a difference. I look forward to developing meaningful relationships with the students to help them achieve success and an awesome school year! Go Mustangs!!
